Content Rewrite – Agricultural Dealership (Website)

Driven by our superior product and devotion to our customers, we're not just any choice of air reel solution, we're your choice. We simplified the concept of adding air to combine headers and capitalizing on the benefits of air across a wide range of crops. We listen to our dealers and customers and use their feedback to ensure our AWS Airbar continues to be the only solution they will ever need.

AWS was originated through an independent John Deere Dealer in Southern Ontario, Canada. Its goal was to simplify the concept of adding air to combine headers and realize the benefits of air across a wide range of crops. AWS – Advanced Wind-Reel Systems is owned by Jeff Dolmage and Mike DeCorte. Both raised on farms, we have been involved in the agriculture sector for our entire lives. We have both worked at CaseIH and John Deere dealerships in the past. As owners, we are both actively involved in our roles within the company and are in touch with today’s farming equipment, practice’s and challenges.

The idea of our product is to push the limits of design and function while not taking away from the manufacturer’s intended head design and function. As you click on the different mainline tabs on our site, you will find we take great care to ensure AWS reel’s effectiveness is equal on all makes and designs of headers. We were the first company to offer a simple belt drive fan, greatly reducing the horsepower draw and heat build-up typically experienced in gear box drives, and the first to offer an out front air manifold system while still making use of your existing factory reel. To further complement our reels, we offer Stainless floor kits, Draper brush and Spoiler kits for a variety of headers.

Our customer service speaks for itself. We genuinely appreciate our dealers and their customers as we strive to be the first choice of all farmers purchasing an air-reel system. How many places can you phone or email and talk with the owner of a company today? Companies can say they are customer focused but we actually achieve it. In addition, we have further surrounded ourselves with a dedicated, educated and experienced staff that are focused on our shared goals

Jeff Dolmage

I grew up on family farm that I now farm myself. I have been involved in the agriculture sector my entire life. From working at a local Co-op, to selling CaseIH equipment and then onto the John Deere dealership where our original product concept first launched. As an owner I consider myself very hands on in every aspect of our business and can relate to our customer’s needs.

I take the greatest pride in the fact that we evolved from selling kits in one town to now all around the world, and can still have the same relationship with someone a mile away or a 1000 miles away. The Ag. Community no matter where you are is the most evolving, cutting edge business there is. I continue to find it exciting and a privilege to work in the greatest environment in the world and could not imagine working in any other place.

I grew up in a large farm family of seven and learned my innovation skills at home on the farm. Started career at age 16 at a CaseIH dealership as wash boy. Apprenticed at Fanshaw College for Licensed Farm Equipment Mechanic. Spent several years in the small engine and powersports mechanic field. Switched to a John Deere dealership and with the guidance of Tony Visser, further developed the application of air assisted harvesting. Developed a belt drive fan at the request of our local customers who were unhappy with the systems on the market at that time. Upon the success of our 1996 prototype, we ventured to produce and sell 12 units to the dealerships existing customers. That number grew to 24 before harvest season and continued to grow form that first year.

Jeff and I had gone to grade school together and Jeff was hired as a sales rep for the product in 2001. In 2004 Jeff and I purchased shares of the company and took over management while still operating out of the John Deere dealership. In 2008 we purchased land and constructed a small factory on the current site.

My contribution to the business is product development and design, as well as customer service. My best days are when I can solve a customer’s issue quickly and efficiently, and hearing a sincere “thank you”. I am very personable and empathetic to a farmer’s situation during harvest and always do my best to help. I am very proud of our outstanding employees who make it possible to be confident in our product and service.

Outside of TEMP, I enjoy my classic convertible, my large home workshop, house renovations and traveling to new places.

Not just any choice. Your choice.

Founded in 1998, TEMP Farm Equipment Ltd is an independently owned company that grew from its roots in a John Deere Dealership in Southern Ontario, Canada. Inspired by customer feedback, we developed a prototype belt drive fan which we used to produce a small initial production run. By harvest season, further demand saw our production double and our growth has continued to steadily advance since.

In 2004, we purchased shares of the original company and took over management while still operating out of the John Deere dealership where it had all begun. 2008 brought further growth as we purchased land and constructed a small factory on the site.

We take an active role in the agricultural sector and keep in touch with today's farming equipment, practices, and challenges. By bridging precision, automation, efficiency, user friendliness, communication, and networking between our cutting-edge product, our seasoned customers, and ourselves, we’re confident there is no one better suited to serve your air reel needs.

Most of all, we are very proud of our outstanding employees who make it possible to promote such confidence in our product and service.

Mike DeCorte

Learning my innovation skills on the farm as part of a family of seven, I started my agricultural career at the age of 16 when I began working for a local CaseIH dealership. From there I moved on to apprentice at Fanshaw College as a Licensed Farm Equipment Mechanic followed by several years in the small engine and powersports mechanic field.

Transitioning later to a John Deere dealership, I further developed the application of air assisted harvesting. Although my technical position in our business is that of product development and design, my favourite interactions are the ones where I am able to communicate with our customers to solve their issues quickly and efficiently. Being lucky enough to hear a sincere “thank you” from a customer as they leave smiling is always a highlight.

Jeff Dolmage

Raised on a family farm, the same one which I now farm myself, I have remained in the agricultural sector throughout my entire life. Whether working at my local Co-op, selling for CaseIH, or being a part of the John Deere dealership where our original product concept was first launched, I consider myself very hands on in every aspect and I am always able to relate to customer needs; important traits which I have put to considerable use as an owner of our business.

My greatest sense of pride comes from our ability to sell our product to customers all around the world and maintain that same one-on-one relationship with each of them, whether a mile or a thousand miles away. The Agricultural sector is the one of the quickest evolving and cutting edge businesses and I continue to find it exciting as well as a privilege to be a part of it.
